Prince William and Kate Middleton were all smiles as they dropped off Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte for their first day of school on Wednesday. The family of five strolled into Lambrook School hand-in-hand for an ‘afternoon fix’ to welcome new pupils and their families before the school year starts. On their arrival at the prestigious school in Berkshire, the family were greeted by headmaster Jonathan Perry. Middleton, 40, wore a brown polka dot dress and a pair of black heels, while William, also 40, looked dapper in navy trousers and a matching blazer. Their two sons matched their new school uniform with navy shorts and a light blue collared shirt. Meanwhile, Charlotte, 7, looked perfect in a blue and white check dress and French braids. The trio looked confident as they walked up the grand steps to meet their future teachers and peers. They were welcomed by the school’s principal, Jonathan Perry. AP Last month, the family announced that all three children would be leaving their schools in London after the family moved to Windsor. “Their Royal Highnesses are very grateful to Thomas’s Battersea, where George and Charlotte have had a happy start to their education since 2017 and 2019 respectively, and are delighted to have found a school for all three of their children who shares similar ethos and values,” their statement reads. The royal children were able to go inside and meet their teachers and classmates.AP Perry added in a statement of his own upon hearing the exciting news: “We are thrilled that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will be joining us next September and look forward to welcoming the family, as well as all of us. new students, in our school community”. In June, news broke that William, Middleton and their children would be leaving London to “take up a much more senior role in the royal family”. A source told Page Six that the move will also allow the Cambridges to be closer to family – including Queen Elizabeth II. The trio all matched in blue and white.
